The Weather Outside Is Not Nearly Frightful Enough

today is perfect outside! its a biting 56 degrees :D i got to wear my winter coat!!! the Warm one! and its sunny and blue skied..contented sigh.

im excited about this weekend- i am going to clean and study for the most part. saturday evening i'll be attending soul train night and my friend john's concert!! im not Entirely sure what to wear for soul train night-but karima and i are going to get ready together- and she es an expert of the train of souls. hah-sounds like some deth-rock-metal band.

i found a new amazing yarn! still Lion's Brand- its as chunky as Thick & Quick yarn, but its Less Itchy and has a beautiful sheen to it. PLUS its HALF the price! its called 'Hometown USA'. im knitting myself a deep cranberry scarf out of 'Vanna's Choice' yarn by Lion's Brand. i couldn't find my spare set of thin needles so i started the scarf on a two pens :D ..

im allergic (not literally) to worsteds and cheapy yarn that comes in pounds- its all just too skritchy. And those 'homespun' ones that are all thin and weirdly fluffy-Ick. I'm also nearly done with christopherson's black scarf that he was supposed to get Last christmas! and im knitting his grandma and mom scarves this year too-i refuse to be a slacker! hah. at least when it comes to knitting. when it comes to economics and grammar...heh.

ive become addicted to martha stewart's and rachael ray's daytime shows..sigh. i go home after my morning classes because i have a 3-4 hour break depending on the day O' the week.. and i make myself lunch [for the past two weeks Halloween mac n' cheese] they come on during my lunchery habits..

last night and today i made myself spicy french fries- mmmMMM.. so easy, so grood [great+good]. just fry up taters like you normally would, then DOUSE with cumin and garlic powder, and vast amounts of Black Pepper! i personally like to douse them while they're in the oil and once they're out.. i heart the spicy.

I NEED to go to a fabrics store to pick out fabric for stockings!! i'm going to sew my own this year rather than buy one made out of faux red velvet and faux white fur-gross! i already bought those brass hooks by 3M-ohh apartment living ;) there will be one stocking each for me, chris, and teh kitteh Dr. Horrible. i thought i had some remarkable fabric laying about somewhere-i Know i do-but i can't find it.. i know i cut a bunch of squares off of it to start a quilt.. now i canna find the Fabric or the Quilt..mwrawr!

lately i've been having dreams that i am pregnant. one person said that this means that someone i know is going to die. Jenbot said that it means that I'M pregnant.. mwreh??? also ive been having hot-flashes and waking up soaked in sweat- Nasty and Suspicious.. im paranoid... i
wouldn't have an abortion-im glad i have the choice- but i personally wouldn't have one..two years ago..who knows? im lucky that if i were pregnant i have a support system in place- the scariest part would be the actual childbirth.. im going to ask jenbot what the "symptoms" of pregnancy are so i can assuage my paranoia. im too ____ [insert proper adjective, i cannot think of one] to get an over the counter test.. what if its wrong?!? either way?!?

Anyhoo.. something Exciting about being pregnant now would be that Jenbot's child, and my lurrvvv-child would be able to play together!!!! that Would be awesome! and, just sayin', i'd be an amazing marmee. one day i'll do my part to counter "Idiocracy"..it should be a documentary its so true.
