i got a lot of cathartic cleaning done this weekend! i banished the looming spectre of dirty dishes in my kitchen..cleaned my toilet with cleaner that smells like Cedar!..sprayed down all countetops with lemon-verbana scented spray..put a cream-colored slipcover on my couch-my mother meant well when she gave me furniture for my place, but she doesna know my taste..i procured two new, cheap and awesome rugs-one for my bedroom, one for my living room..i put new shampoo and conditioner in my green glass soap dispensers-plastic bottles and i dont get along..i narrowed down my facewash and bodywash to one product-that dr. bronners stuffs-i finally tried it cause they have an almondy scent!! now there are only three products in my shower!!! which, inexplicably, makes me happy :D
i was supposed to drive to eastern kentucky to visit chris- but there was a weather advisory and it was supposed to be blizzarding from 4pm on to saturday!! but, then, O' course it didnt start snowing till like 8..le sigh. but i did need the time to clean and reorient myself.. i got in touch with friends ive been neglecting lately because my weeks are full of student teaching and my weekends have been busy as well!!
next weekend is my birthday!! w00t! i'll be exactly a quarter of a century old!!! im excited!!!! im going to go vintage shopping with molly, then to my friend matt's show, then to dance mf! d_flower_mf !!!
