sooo hungry! soooo without foodstuffs! mwreh!
last weekend prince plum (the third) and i baked pumpkin cupcakes! we cut out the crushed pineapple in the recipe and just added more PUMPKIN! we are so ready for autumn! i want the leaves to start changing color now. right. now. even tho i canna maintain my own body temperature i adore the season! i even adore winter until mid-february..then its just..old. and painful. i procured my fall jacket already! ive never really had one relegated to fall, which is just plain scandalous considering that tis my favorite season.
my apartamente facts and fictitiousness:
yes, it is in redneck, usa. however, my neighbors actually consist mainly of young couples with younger children. and there is always an ambience created by mexican music and the delicious smells of mexican food being simmered. oh how it wafts! and my complex is huge and driving onto it is like driving onto a campground! there are so many beauteous trees!! and when you lay down on my sumptously laden- with a nice mattress topped with a feather topper, then egyptian cotton sheets- bed and look out of the humangous window you dont see the office parking lot. you see huge amounts of luscious foliage! and i cannot wait for those leaves to turn to their destined autumn splendor!
*note on adjectives:
i have an on-going pascifist type non-violent disagreement with my journalism professor..he, like mr. samuel clemens (mark twain), loathes adjectives. adjectives are my bread and butter (along with kittehs and goggies and cupacakes and vintage erotica and..but to stay on topic..) so, to get the grades i need to, i adhere to blasphemous journalistic writing standards.. but just for fun on ungraded in-class work i throw in things such as, "a HORRIFIC auto accident killed a mother and her unborn child on the fremont expressway thursday morning" he also made me take out "unborn child"-saying that you could simply say "pregnant woman"..but wheres the drahmur? (drama) sigh... and describe local activists as "vivacious"...really, no adjectives? pshaw, sir. pshaw!
hmmm...the hunger, it pains me.
i must away,
h. sansculotte
